Musical Fountains
Choreographed shows for landmark plazas, resorts and municipal spaces, programmed jet by jet against the music.

Aqualume designs and manufactures musical dancing fountain systems for landmark plazas, resorts, malls and lakes: choreographed water, music and light, the equipment behind the show, and the team that programs and commissions it on site.
A musical dancing fountain is not a pump with speakers. It is a programmed performance in which jet patterns, music and lighting are choreographed together, and every part of the system — layout, hydraulics, effect zones, control cabinets, underwater lighting — has to be designed for the show it will perform. That is how Aqualume builds them: one team takes the concept, the hydraulic and electrical design, the in-house manufactured equipment and the final programming, so the show you approved on screen is the show that opens on site.
Start with the family that fits your site. Each system below is a complete project scope, from the first design review to commissioning and operator handover.
Two buying patterns run through every family. One takes the complete project: design, manufacture, installation and commissioning under one responsibility, so the simulated show and the opened show are the same team's work. Others — fountain builders, landscape contractors, venues with their own project teams — buy the equipment and control scope alone, with design and commissioning support wrapped around their own build. Both patterns start at the same place: the design review that fixes format, zones and program before anything is manufactured or priced in detail.

Explore →Every project moves through the same four working stages, and you approve the show before any equipment is built. Send the site drawings and the effect you want; the design stage turns them into a simulated performance you can judge.
Your site, basin and audience sightlines are reviewed first. The show is then modelled in 3D so jet heights, effect zones and lighting can be judged before manufacture.
Pump duty, pipe runs, nozzle layout, control cabinets and underwater lighting circuits are engineered as one package, matched to the simulated show.
Nozzles, piping, swing and variable-height jet systems, control cabinets and underwater lighting are manufactured and assembled in-house.
Installation guidance or on-site installation per the agreed scope, then show programming and commissioning until the performance runs as designed.

Prefer to supply your own contractor for civil works? The scope flexes: Aqualume can deliver the full turnkey project or the equipment package with design and commissioning support. Read how the fountain design service works, or go straight to the project planning guide.

Buyers comparing fountain suppliers are usually comparing different purchases without knowing it. This is the whole Aqualume scope on one plate — every line of it is a page on this site, so you can interrogate any part of it before you brief the whole.
Under every choreography sits the control layer: PLC and DMX control, cabinets built for the project, and show programming that ties jets, lights, water screen and laser into a single timeline. Because the same team builds the equipment and writes the show, effects such as chasing sequences, multidirectional swings, variable jets, rotating patterns, flame and air-explosion accents are programmed against the real hardware, not a generic library.

Explore the fountain control system page for the architecture, or see how motion-controlled jet systems create the moving effects.
Send the basin drawing or lake dimensions and the effects you want — the first design review starts with a drawing, a dimension and an email.
Four questions arrive with almost every first inquiry. They are answered here the way the design team answers them by email — plainly, and with the limits stated.
Yes, for the first review. Photographs, a paced-out dimension and the water depth are enough to name the right format and flag what needs measuring properly. The full design stage then works from drawings or a survey.
Yes. Equipment-only supply — nozzles, motion units, lights, control — is quoted against your effect plan or basin layout, and the schedule is checked for compatibility before it is priced.
The same team that builds the system. Programming and commissioning are part of the project scope, and later programs can be commissioned against the installed system without hardware changes.
